Crafting in the new year

I made a table runner in January. These are all scrap material. It is quilted.

Then I found this great tutorial for making a clutch purse using metal frames. We had an old handbag and I got the frame from that. My first attempt I used pliers and it was horribly disappointing. Removed and googled a bit and came up with this:

And I made this! Isn't it So GREAT???? Thanks Lisa! I got some glue on the fabric cos I was so in a hurry to get the fabric in the frame before my son woke up from his nap. But I did the whole thing from finding fabric to finishing in 2 hours flat! It is my new fave handbag!! By the way the material is from a ari jacket pice and is silk.
